Samsung Galaxy S3

Samsung has truly lived up to its tag line “Next is what “with the introduction of Samsung Galaxy S3, I am completely bowled over and force to think “ Next is what “. Samsung is always known for best android phones in budget range, from low cost Samsung music hero to higher end Samsung Galaxy S3. I have not found the touch screen quality in other brands which Samsung is offering.

Samsung has yet again crossed a milestone by launching Samsung Galaxy S3 which to offer features from Intelligence to sharing to its greatness, very easy-to-use but exceptionally powerful. Its S Voice feature simple turns your Samsung Galaxy S3 into speech to text mode. You can talk, give instructions, turn off an alarm for few more minutes, and let you enjoy little more early morning sleep, answer or reject or a call, turn the music up or down, or even tell the camera when to shoot.

India became the first few countries to see the launch of Samsung Galaxy S3 android 4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich) operating system and currently the most expensive android phone available in the market. Priced at Rs.38900 on flipkart

Powered with 1.4 GHz Quad Core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. Samsung Galaxy S3 offers sensibility and simplicity thereby enabling the user to do multitasking easily. The Smartphone sports a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED display with 1280x720p resolution making this Smartphone versatile and easy to use. The bottom of the device houses the Micro-USB port which can be used for both charging and HDMI out.

Capture the unforgettable memories of your loved ones no matter which part of the world you reside in sharp and vivid colors on Samsung Galaxy S3’s 8 megapixel camera with LED flash. Enjoy features like face and smile detection, Geo-tagging, auto focus and Image editor. The Smartphone weighs a 133g and is available in shades of Pebble Blue and Marble White.

As their official website says about design “whether it’s the oceans’ horizons or majestic forest of Nordic firs, one thing is apparent: there are no straight lines in nature. Samsung Galaxy S3’s minimal and organic design is reflected in its smooth and non-linear lines. Its human centric natures provided an ergonomic and comfortable experience with enhanced usability. Its comfortable grip, gentle curve, and platinum organic form deliver a natural look and feel “. Says and hold true about the design of Samsung Galaxy S3.

All I can saydesigned for humans, Inspired by nature”

Below are some of comments from the community’s trusted reviewers :

“The Galaxy S3 is a solid, capable phone. But its most important feature may be ubiquity.” Mossberg brings up an interesting point: “The Galaxy S3 lacks any game-changing capabilities and is instead packed with a dizzying array of minor new tricks that users will turn to frequently. There are so many of these that it can take hours to learn and configure them. I had the strong impression Samsung’s designers failed to focus and just threw in as many technical twists as they could, some of which didn’t work very well.” — Walt Mossberg, All Things D

“So is it an iPhone killer? Let’s call it a worthy contender. It’s not worth breaking your current contract over, but if you’re in the market for a new, top-of-the-line Android phone then [the S3] should be a top consideration.” — Hayley TsukayamaWashington Post

“Galaxy S3 is a technological triumph. Not at first sight, perhaps, but Samsung has done the overwhelming majority of things right. The camera is easily the best I’ve used on an Android device, the processor claims the title of benchmarking champion, and the customizations layered on top of Ice Cream Sandwich are mostly unobtrusive and sometimes even helpful.” — Vlad SavovThe Verge

While struck with the Samsung Galaxy S3, David Pogue of the New York Times remarked, “…with great flexibility comes great complexity. The phone bombards you with warnings and disclaimers–sometimes upside-down. You really need a Learning Annex course to master this thing.

Nathan Olivarez-Giles of Wired was not so keen with the new Samsung galaxy s Smartphonet, saying, “…simply doesn’t feel like a finished product. It could use more polish, more thought, and a more elegant user experience.” He also picks on Samsung’s TouchWiz software, which “includes a lot of half-baked features that aim for innovation but miss the mark–sharing apps in particular. Styling is boring, and not exciting enough for a flagship phone.”

Ed Baig of USA Today, on the other hand, almost found the Galaxy S3 complete apart from its lacking S Voice feature that will not work as seamlessly as voice-enable assistant Siri on the Apple iPhone.
